Join us in October as we embark on several adventures!  October is “Domestic Violence Awareness Month” and we ask you to join us and help bring peace to our island families.

Since Nicole’s murder, Denise Brown has dedicated her life to ensure that her sister did not die in vain.  For the past 12 years, Denise has been speaking out about the issue of domestic violence and how this international epidemic needs to be stopped.  Denise has traveled thousands of miles in her effort to raise awareness; since domestic violence knows no boundaries this commitment  has taken her around the world.  On October 10, Denise Brown comes to Hawaii for a special VIP Cocktail Reception.  On October 11, Denise will speak at a special community session co-hosted by DVCLH and Queen’s Medical Center entitled “Stop Domestic Violence: Working together for island families.”
